The Dulcimer is a traditional Chinese instrument, played by hitting strings with a pair of bamboo mallets. Markel from TCO will be offering three x one-hour in-person lessons. The lessons will be offered in English. The instructor is willing to travel within the GTA to Downtown Toronto, Markham, Scarborough and North York for lessons. Online lessons via Zoom is also an option, but effectiveness is not guaranteed if the bidder prefers this method of instruction. If the bid is successful, the instructor will contact the winner to arrange details. The instructor is flexible on how the time will be broken down (e.g. between actual lessons, demoing the instrument, giving some background on the instrument and culture) based on the student’s interest. Students from any age range is welcome!
