Set in eighteen hundred and something-something, somewhere upon the banks of a Reddish River in Treaty One Territory, where three very different women with a preference for 21st-century slang sit in a fort sharing their views on life, love and the hot nerd Louis Riel. In this lively historical satire of survival and cultural inheritance, playwright Frances Koncan shifts perspectives from the male gaze onto women's power in the past and present through the lens of the rapidly changing world of the Canadian fur trade.
Setting: Eighteen hundred and something-something. Banks of Reddish River in Treaty One Territory, Manitoba.
Pickup Policy
Barry James Payne and Todd Torresan(auction/benefit organizers) will make arrangements with winning bidders to drop off items won or have you pick them up in the following areas over the next couple of weeks/months - London, Stratford to Goderich, KW, Hamilton/GTA and all areas in between. We both make regular trips to these areas.
Shipping, if required, is the responsibility of the winning bidders and must be paid in advance of shipment. Either organize the shipment pickup and payment beforehand, or we will give you an amount to eTransfer the cost of shipping beforehand.
Payment Policy
Winning bidders must pay the full invoice amount by either cash or eTransfer. If you are paying by eTransfer, please send the total on your invoice to thetalkingcirclestratford@gmail.com. Once received, we will contact you to coordinate a drop-off or a pickup date/time/location.
Details will be sent to all bidders once the auction has closed.
Other Policy
There will be a staggered interval time between Lots closing. It is recommended that you use Maximum Bidding to help with your bidding. Maximum Bidding will allow the computer to bid for you up to a level you have entered.
Lot's closing time will be extended by 2 minutes when a bid is placed in the last two minutes. Sniping will not be allowed with less than one second left.
