Bauer R600 Right Hand Goalie Stick signed by "Cujo" Curtis Joseph #31. Cujo did not sign many items, which makes this stick quite rare.
Curtis Shayne Joseph (born April 29, 1967) is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former professional player. Nicknamed "Cujo", Joseph was immediately recognizable on the ice for his masks featuring a snarling dog, drawing inspiration from the Stephen King novel Cujo.
Throughout his NHL career, Joseph played for several franchises, rising to prominence during the playoffs with the St. Louis Blues, Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs. He also played for the Detroit Red Wings, Phoenix Coyotes and Calgary Flames, He last played for the Maple Leafs during the 2008-09 NHL season. He was also a member of Canada's gold medal-winning team at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
Joseph retired with the most career wins (454) of any goaltender in NHL history who never played on a Stanley Cup-winning team (which has since been surpassed by Roberto Luongo and Henrik Lundqvist, although they reached the Stanley CupFinals once where Joseph never did), and was also the first goaltender to have 30 or more wins in a regular season for five different teams. He was also the last goaltender to have played in the NHL in the 1980s.
Pickup Policy
- Pick up will be on Friday November 24th between 10 am and 5 pm and Saturday November 25th from 9 am until 2:01 pm.
- Shipping is available at a $15 handling fee plus the cost of shipping.
- Items not picked up during the above times will be deemed abandoned unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. The auction house reserves the right to re-sell any abandoned items with all expenses associated with the resale billed to the original purchaser/purchase of the abandoned item.
- Directions and location will be provided on the winning bidders invoice immediately following the sale.
- Winning bidders must bring help to load and tools for dismantling of games if necessary.
- Full size games are located in an expansive basement recreational room. Professional movers are suggested.
